Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country singer and songwriter. She released two singles in 2007 and a full album entitled Satisfied. The year 2013 saw her debuted her second album entitled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe performing Blake SheltonIn 2016, she released The Blade which was another extremely acclaimed album. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager of the village of Riverside Illinois and has over fifteen years of experience in public service, including almost five years as the the Deputy City Manager for Iowa City. Her current duties as Assistant Village Manager are to oversee the operation of the Community Development and Building Department managing grants, as well as completing specific initiatives. Ashley is accountable for running the day-to-day operations of Riverside Village, while also working to implement the strategy and vision that elected representatives. Ashley has served in a range of positions previously, such as municipal planning, government communications budgeting, collective bargaining and management of employees as well as working on climate change-related initiatives. Ashley acquired valuable insights from working with national organisations as well as work in various communities. Ashley's teaching focuses on the latest approaches to the management of public affairs and leaders, from the viewpoint of an experienced practitioner. She focuses on ethics and strategic decision-making, as well as adapting to the current challenges and opportunities and navigating intergovernmental and community relationships gives context to aspiring and working professionals within public institutions.
